Plan with me: June 2018 in my Bullet Journal

June 2, 2018

Welcome to this second edition of “Plan with me” in my Bullet Journal. I will be showing you my preparation for the month of June 2018.

This month, I have decided to add two new pages to my usual monthly planning. I want to try something new and I feel like the beginning of the summer is the perfect moment.

Without further ado, here’s my monthly planning for the month of June 2018 in my Bullet Journal.

The Monthly log

For the monthly log, I haven’t changed my style since the last Plan with me in March. I still find this configuration very efficient, as such, I have kept it for this month as well. I also kept the same layout for the right-side page.

You can still find the squares “Instagram” and “Blog” where I write down my monthly stats; the square “Books read” where I write down the books I have read during the month; the square “Next Month” for when I want to remember something for the next month; and finally, the bottom of the page for “Playlist”, where I write the songs that are on my playlist during the month.

Monthly finances

The next page is simply called “Bills”. This is where I write down the monthly bills I have to pay, how much to pay, and when. Sadly, not the most interesting page, but quite a useful one. I go back to it when I know bills are due soon.

The bottom half of the page is empty: I’m thinking of putting in my monthly chores, but since I haven’t been using that spread much in the past few months, I might simply not do that page.

Instagram planning

I am still using an Instagram planification page, like in the previous Plan with me. A very simple page, the days in a column on the left side and what I’m going to post beside the corresponding day.

A gratitude log

Here’s the first one of the new pages I am trying out this month: a gratitude log. I want to write every day something that I am grateful for, something that made my day good or a little better.

With this, I want to learn to appreciate the little things in life. Sometimes, we don’t even realise how lucky we are, especially when we’ve had a bad day or a bad week. So I want to take a few minutes everyday to try and find something good in my day. It’s a little thought exercise I recommend to everybody! (P.S.: I talked about the gratitude log in this previous article. 😉 )

A weather calendar

The other new page for this month, a weather calendar for the month of June. I wanted to write down what the temperature is like during the month of June, to see later if it was a nice spring/summer. As such, I made a calendar to copy it down every day!

This concludes my planning for the month of June!

I hope I will consistently fill up my new pages: indeed, as summer is getting closer, it’s getting harder to keep up the habit of writing in my Bullet Journal every day. During summer, we want to be outside and do activities, enjoy the nice weather, etc. I will try to keep at it and take at least a few minutes each day to fill up my dear Bullet Journal!

Follow me on Instagram to check on my progress on my new pages!

Do you have new pages that you’ve recently added to your monthly planning? Do you want to try one of theses ones? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time! 😀

  1. I use a bullet journal too, but mine is no where near as lovely as yours. I wanted to ask, do you post to Instagram every day? And how far in advance do you plan those posts?

  2. This is perfect! I’m thinking of starting a bullet journal to document and organise the writing of my next novel so thank you so much for this post. 🙂

  3. What pretty journals. I am also a planner, but I keep it digital on my phone/computer. I find my life can be a lot more stressful when I don’t plan well, and who needs that! 🙂

  4. These pages are beautiful! And so helpful. I’ve been thinking about trying out bullet journaling but I find it so intimidating. Your pages are simple, yet beautiful and they seem like something I could actually try!
